Kathy Breedlove
Kathy Breedlove is a California-licensed attorney and a member of Protea’s in house legal team. Her diverse background includes planning and entitlement of various resort and resort real estate projects as well as feasibility analysis and planning for commercial and mixed-use projects.
In her previous role as Director of Master Planning for the Hotel del Coronado, Kathy managed the master plan process for the iconic resort including approvals by the city of Coronado and the California Coastal Commission. Working with Protea Properties, she obtained the city of San Diego’s first SB 375 CEQA exemption for a transit-oriented mixed-use development in Bay Park.
Kathy is passionate about architecture and design. She is actively involved with the San Diego Architectural Foundation including chairing the organizations’ annual Open House program. Kathy holds a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University, JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and a Masters in Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego.
